When a new Resident is identified, the following must be sent to the Examination Committee via the Secretary of ACVM. This must be done within 90 days of the beginning of the program. Exceptions to this time requirement will be considered for programs from which students are already enrolled and will be considered on a case by case basis.
If notice is not sent, then the Resident is considered unapproved. ACVM will not retroactively approve a Resident unless a specific exception has been approved.
